What is included in a home cleaning?

We mainly do regular maintenance cleaning – choose your preferred weekday. Usually, the cleaning is done once a week, every other week, or every four weeks – choose how often you want your home cleaned. We reserve and charge for a minimum of three hours per cleaning.
Our maintenance cleaning is thorough, but we can customise it in advance according to your wishes.

The cleaning duration depends, among other things, on the size of the house, the number of levels, the number and age of family members, pets, and the house’s surface materials and interior.
If requested, we can change your sheets and iron your clothes. We will invoice you once a month according to the realised cleanings.

What is your operating area?

We operate in the Greater Helsinki area (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, and Kauniainen). Our cleaners use public transportation, so it is good to provide us with your address early on: your home’s location influences scheduling and our ability to find a suitable cleaning time.

Do you provide move-out, one-time and window cleanings?

We provide move-out, one-time, and window cleanings primarily for our contractual customers, but if our schedule allows, we can surely provide them for one-time customers as well. It depends on the booking situation! For one-time customers, the price is higher. For one-time cleanings, we usually bring our own cleaning equipment and products. For the use of our equipment and products, we will charge an additional fee. Please contact us and describe your needs, and we will create a quote!

Why is the home address requested in the contact phase?

Our home cleaners use public transportation. They usually visit two homes per day. From the perspective of seamless mobility and the efficient use of time, knowing the exact address helps with the selection of a suitable cleaning day and home cleaner.

Does Kidesiivous provide office cleanings?

If you would like to have a your office cleaned like your home, we can definitely provide this. Contact us to describe your needs.

Can I keep the same cleaner?

Our services are strongly based on personal cleaners, meaning that the same cleaners always clean the same homes. Some of our customers have been with us since the beginning, and they have kept the same cleaner year after year. Our aim is to keep it that way, but some changes may inevitably occur due to illness or holidays, for example. We will always inform you about any changes in advance.

Can I choose the cleaner?

You may express your preference, and we will consider it according to what is possible at that time. Our home cleaners use public transportation, so we will choose a suitable cleaner for you based on your location. The cleaner’s other cleaning location of the day will influence the choice. We optimise the routes as much as possible.

At what time of the day is cleaning done?

We mainly clean on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you have special wishes or restrictions related to the cleaning time, please state them in the offer request or the contact form. The cleaning time will be selected according to the cleaners’ schedules. Regular maintenance cleanings are always done on set days.

Should someone be at home during cleaning?

You can be at home, but it is not necessary. If you are at home, it is advisable to let the cleaner know the room in which they can start cleaning so that everyone can work in peace. If no one is at home to let the cleaner in, you can give us your key.

In which languages can you contact us?

During our first visit, you will meet both Kirsi and your future home cleaner. In addition, our service manager, Jonna, will serve you at our office. With Kirsi and Jonna, you can communicate in Finnish or English. Our cleaners speak only English with the customer, and they speak in their native language, Tagalog, with one another.

We hire only recommended and reliable employees. They are all Kidesiivous’s permanent and full-time employees and are part of the Kide Family.

Can my pet be at home during cleaning?

It is good to inform us about your pet in advance in the offer request. However, it is not a problem as far as the pet is fine with us cleaning its territory.

Whose cleaning products are used?

We always clean with the customer’s equipment and products, but if you wish, you can buy cleaning equipment and products, such as cloths, from us.
